A sea with clear waters, beaches and indented coasts of unparalleled charm join a large network of paths. We will stop in three villages: Monterosso, Vernazza and Manarola. Monterosso is the largest town in the Cinque Terre with a wide beach whose first historical signs date back to 1200. The town is divided in two by a promontory with a tunnel of a hundred meters, on one side the area of Fegina and the its residential area, on the other the old port and the historic center of the town. Vernazza is one of the most beautiful villages in the Cinque Terre, famous all over the world for its atmosphere, it is considered a jewel between sea and rock. Founded around the year 1000, it offers a unique landscape made of dry stone walls and fields overlooking the sea that characterize its beauty. Manarola is a very characteristic town, with colorful houses overlooking the main street. The presence, upstream of the town, of the square where the religious buildings are concentrated is interesting. A curiosity: the white-painted concrete pyramid that emerges between the tallest houses is a trigonometric sign for sailors.
