Not far from this wonderful village there is a wonderful place: Altilia, the small Roman town set along the slopes of the Matese which is one of the most important archaeological sites in Molise. After having satiated the eyes, a tasty lunch awaits us at a typical local farmhouse to taste typical dishes of the region. At the end, a very original visit will follow: “Sepino cashmere”. It is a recently established farm. Cashmere and angora goats are raised, the cashmere and mohair fibers are collected in the company which, after being sent to specialized spinning mills, return to the company in the form of finished products such as soft yarns, quilts or carded wools for manual spinning. The visit includes entry into the company, a brief description of the production cycle, and participation in the felting laboratory with the creation of an organic olive oil soap coated with carded wool that will be given to you as a gift.
