Venice, the secrets of blown glass and the art of lace

You will discover the political, religious and social center of Venice, passing by the Doge's Palace, the Basilica of San Marco and Piazza San Marco. You will visit an atelier which is also a lace school in Burano. You will also get to know an ancient furnace to witness the famous art of Murano glass blowing. You will leave the Marciana zone to reach, through alleys and bridges, the area of Rialto Bridge, the ancient commercial and financial heart of Venice. The tour will end with a sweet or savory tasting. You will be accompanied to an historical venetian bakery to discover the pancakes if in the carnival period and / or the creams if in other periods. In alternative, you will go to a venetian bacaro to drink a glass of white wine or a spritz and taste a creamed cod cicchetto, sardines in saòr, octopus with polenta and other Venetian delicacies.

    Unmissable because You will discover Venice, the secrets of blown glass and the centenary art of Venetian lace. Ideal for: Friends, couples, seniors The itinerary starts in the politic, religious and social centre of Venice (Doge's Palace, the Basilica of San Marco and the homonymous square) with a visit to a Burano lace workshop-school with demonstration and a furnace to witness the almost millenary art of Murano glass blowing. We will leave the Marciana zone to reach the Rialto area, the ancient commercial and financial heart of Venice, through alleys and bridges. The tasting will take place at a historic bakery (to discover the pancakes if in the carnival period and flames and / or creams if in other periods) or in a typical bacaro (between a shadow of wine or a spritz and a cicchetto of creamed cod , sardines in saor, octopus with polenta, and other delicacies), depending on the sweet or savory palate of the guests.
