Discovering the Tibetan bridge and waterfalls in Molise

The day will begin by reaching the pretty village of Carpinone, dominated by the Caldora Castle, in the Molise area. From here you can reach the paths that lead to the suggestive Molise waterfalls, those of the Carpino river, defined by the FAI, Fondo Ambiente Italiano, one of the most fascinating spectacles of the nature of the place. Afterwards you will be in Roccamandolfi. Here stands the famous Tibetan Bridge of Molise, part of the 'Path of the shepherds', a metallic masterpiece suspended in the void, thanks to which you can take adrenaline-pumping walks at high altitude. A few steps away, surrounded by thick vegetation, is the Callora stream waterfall, a strong jet of water that gushes from the rocky wall. Afterwards, an excellent lunch awaits you at a farmhouse in the area, where you can refresh yourself with the traditional dishes of the Alto Molise cuisine. After lunch, to conclude 'The Water Way', you can reach Santa Maria del Molise, a small village at the foot of the Matese which, in addition to offering a noteworthy historic center, is known for its waters that make it a real and its own land of water.

    Destination

    Carpinone
